Rules and Regulation
 
INSTRUCTIONS AND DISCIPLINARY CODE FOR THE STUDENTS TURN-OUT:
Students must come to the school neat and tidy; well groomed and in proper school uniform, with well polished shoes and tidy nails. All boys (except Sikhs) must maintain a short hair cut. Girls with short hair must keep their hair pinned back and well tuck with a black hair band. Students are not allowed to apply nail polish, henna or make-up.
 
ATTENDANCE & LEAVE :
  1. Students must reach the school punctually in the morning and attend the morning assembly. He/she must join school from the very first day of the school.
  2. They should also be very punctual in their movement in the school between assembly, classes, lunch, games, sports and other activities.
  3. The students are not allowed to leave before the school ends. At any time during the school hours, if indispensable students are allowed to leave with prior permission of the class teacher/PTI and a gate pass issued by PTI.
  4. Students should not be absent from the school without permission. If they remain absent without permission/ approval from the school authorities, they may not be allowed to attend the school. Any leave application on account of illness will be accepted only with a medical certificate.
  5. If a student remains absent for more than 10 days without approval, his/ her name will be struck off the school rolls.
  6. It is compulsory for students to maintain the minimum attendance of 90% throughout the session. Short attendance in any month or examination would render him/ her ineligible to write the test/exam and a zero will be awarded.
 
GENERAL CONDUCT :
  1. Students must behave themselves in a decent manner, at all times, while moving through the school in an orderly way; not loitering around; not shouting, running or causing disturbance.
  2. Students should respect the school and everything therein. They should not cause any damage to and should not spoil walls/furniture by writing or otherwise. They should see that the school property is not damaged or destroyed. Any damage or destruction of this nature will be noted and the cost will be recovered with a fine.
  3. Students should help the school as its responsible member, making sure that there is no wastage/ misuse of books, stationary, sports material, equipment, electricity,  water etc.
  4. The school wants to be proud of its students therefore they are requested that they should talk in a polished and refined manner and should not raise their voice or shout. They should not use foul language or bad words and must not quarrel.

    School rules in all other areas :
    All students should abide by the rules laid down in every area of the school.
Examination and promotion rules :
  1. Besides Class tests, there will be Five-Seven unit tests, and 2 term examinations. Tests and examinations are conducted to assess the academic performance of the child and remedial measures will be taken to rectify the weak areas of each student.
  2. Dates for tests/ examinations shall not be shifted for the convenience of any individual case.
  3. No re-examination will be conducted under any circumstances whatsoever.
  4. No student will remain absent from any examination/ test without the prior written permission of the Principal.
  5. On being absent from any test/ examination, a zero will be awarded.
  6. The final assessment of a student for promotion shall be decided on the whole year's record of the student as per CBSE norms.
  7. Any student, if caught cheating during tests/ examinations will be awarded a zero.
  8. In case, the school has to be closed due to unforeseen reason, the test/ examination, if planned on that day, will be held on the next working day following the last test/ examination held.
  9. A student will be declared as passed or promoted to the higher class in accordance with the school promotion rules, framed and enforced from time to time.
  10. The answer sheet of all tests (except Final term) will be shown to the parents for them to have an idea of their child's performance.
  11. Students who fail twice in the same class, will have to discontinue their studies in the school. Students failing in board classes will have to leave the school.
